Oleg Roskolets, born in 1988

In February 2012 as a result of an accident, he received a severe cranio-cerebral injury with moderate cerebral substance atrophy and vegetative dysfunction. The patient could not walk on his own, moved around in a wheel chair, complained of weakness in the limbs and the inability to maintain the vertical position of the body. After the injury Oleg was hospitalized to Haysin Central Regional hospital, the next day he was transported by reanimobile to the Intensive Care Unit, where he spent 1.5 months. Afterwards, on request of relatives, the patient was transferred to treatment at Sankt Petersburg, the Palenov Institute, for the 1-month rehabilitation treatment. Then the patient was transferred for further treatment at the Köln Rehabilitation Center (Germany). Upon completion of the rehabilitation course, he was hospitalized in the neurological department of KOL, where he also received a course of rehabilitation.

In September 2012 the patient was transferred to NODUS.


The treatment at NODUS was based on conducting of many-hour daily sessions of specialized hardware kinesiology therapy of the combined SET + Biodex sessions, mechanotherapy with Balance Trainer, adding of the specialised exercise therapy in the arena, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ENMS, Extracorporeal shock wave therapy, V-Actor, electrosleep therapy session. Besides, dynamic examinations and neurophysiological investigations were conducted. All daily sessions included various therapies and procedures conducted for many hours as per the Individual rehabilitation program (IRP) created for the patient.

The patient completed THE treatment with positive dynamics: when exercising, THE left limbs HAVE BEGAN TO MOVE, the patient began to maintain a body balance, KEEPING his back. IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. The volume AND QUALITY of movements haVE increased.

Oleg HAS DEVELOPED the correct stereotype of the WALKING, with the help of an instructor and walkings.
